What we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Dudley Rubbish Removals operates dudleyrubbishremovals.com and provides waste clearance services across Dudley and the Black Country. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact hello@dudleyrubbishremovals.com.

What the form collects

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The collection address
  • A second address, where the job involves one
  • A preferred date, if you give one
  • Anything you write in the notes field, including photos you describe

We also receive standard technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited — through analytics and anti-spam tooling.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, quote the work, carry it out if you book, and keep records of completed jobs. The lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Waste documentation

Waste transfer records are a legal requirement and they identify the waste producer — which is you. That means your name and the collection address appear on transfer documentation, and we are required to retain those records and to produce them to a regulator on request. This is not something either of us can opt out of; it is the system that makes waste traceable.

Who else sees it

Our staff, the systems we use to manage enquiries and jobs, and — for the transfer documentation described above — the licensed facilities receiving the waste and, on request, the Environment Agency or the local authority. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to unrelated companies for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how pages are used and Google reCAPTCHA to keep automated submissions off the quote form. Both set their own cookies under Google's terms. Content pages carry no other third-party tracking.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept while commercially useful and then deleted. Records of completed work are kept as long as needed for accounting, insurance and the statutory retention periods that apply to waste transfer records.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict that use — subject to the waste records we are legally required to keep. Email hello@dudleyrubbishremovals.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page.
